Technical Support Manager – Australia
Pulford Air & Gas – 1st January 2026
Salary Range: Base between $100,000 to $110,000 + super, depending on experience
Location: Arndell Park | NSW | Department: After-Market | Full-Time
Join Pulford Air & Gas, an ELGi company, as our Technical Support Manager – Australia. This is a key leadership role responsible for strengthening the technical capability of our national service network and supporting the performance of ELGi air compressor products across Australia.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead technical training, provide expert support to service teams and authorised dealers, and play an important role in improving service delivery and growing the aftermarket business.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background, excellent technical knowledge, and a passion for developing people and improving service capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert on-site and remote technical support to ELGi service teams and authorised dealers across Australia
- Lead and deliver technical training programs to strengthen the capability of internal technicians and dealer service teams
- Support service teams with advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and product expertise
- Work collaboratively with service, sales, and leadership teams to improve customer satisfaction and service efficiency
- Assist in implementing strategies that drive aftermarket revenue and service growth
- Promote and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across all technical activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar technical or service leadership role within industrial equipment or mechanical systems
- Experience with ELGi compressors or similar compressed air systems is highly regarded
- Strong technical knowledge of air compressor systems or comparable industrial equipment
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and support technicians and service teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Willingness to travel nationally to support service teams and dealer partners

ICT Support Technician – Arndell Park NSW

Location: Arndell Park | NSW | Department: Information Technology | Full-Time
Join Pulford Air & Gas, an ELGi company, as an ICT Support Technician—an exciting opportunity to provide specialised technical support across our operational technology systems.
Based in Arndell Park, this role focuses on supporting controllers, training systems, and digital technologies used in air compressor installations and servicing. You will work closely with service technicians and operational teams to diagnose technical issues, configure systems, and ensure reliable performance of equipment used in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for controllers and digital systems used in air compressor and gas generation equipment
- Assist with configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of system controllers and monitoring platforms
- Support the operation and maintenance of Altitude training systems and related technical platforms
- Conduct routine and breakdown servicing of gas generation, air filtration, and compressor systems
- Install, commission, and test new and refurbished electronic plant and equipment in line with technical specifications and industry standards
- Upgrade firmware and operating systems on Windows-based control systems
- Diagnose and resolve software bugs affecting system performance
- Configure controller software logic to enable remote IT access and system monitoring
- Connect industrial software systems to customer local networks and verify functionality
- Calibrate oxygen, nitrogen, and CO₂ sensors to required tolerances
- Adjust nitrogen purity levels using electronic control devices and PLC interfaces
- Assist service technicians with system diagnostics, configuration, and technical problem resolution during installations and servicing
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on system operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OH&S requirements and company procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a technical support, ICT technician, or systems support role
- Qualification in Information Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Understanding of controller-based systems, industrial equipment interfaces, or operational technology platforms
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to work closely with field technicians and operational teams
- Strong communication and customer support skills
- Ability to manage technical issues independently and prioritise support requests
- Experience supporting industrial equipment, monitoring systems, or training platforms highly regarded
